Thanksgiving Traditions: A first-grader’s account…

Nov 22nd, 2017 Posted in Aidan | no comment »

Aidan’s account on his Thanksgiving Traditions is not entirely true, but it sure is entertaining…

I have Thanksgiving at my house, and I play wiffle ball.  I feel like my dad cooks the food.  He usually cooks the Turkey deep fried.  My favorite Thanksgiving food I would say is turkey.  Umm I don’t really like dessert that much, but I like cupcakes sometimes.  After dinner I usually play a little.  Last Thanksgiving my grandpa cooked the food and I had to go to sleep fast because I was really tired.

Oct 20th, 2017 Posted in Aidan | no comment »

Aidan got the best compliments from his First Grade teacher at our most recent Parent/Teacher Conference…

It is a joy to have Aidan in our classroom. He is such a kind individual, always treating others with great respect. He brings great passion for learning to the classroom each day, always participating and trying his best.

She also said he has performed at an outstanding level in the following aspects:

  • Respects others’ rights, feelings & property
  • Demonstrates effort, commitment & perseverance
  • Follows directions

So proud of our Big A, he’s becoming a wonderful young man.
