Miley Cyrus ditched twitter!?
Can you believe this!? I logged onto my twitter account and did what I usually do–look for Miley Cyrus’ latest post. I do not know why, but I am so intrigued by what she has going on. I think that getting the inside scoop on a celebrity’s life is totally awesome. One time she said she was taking voice lessons so she didn’t have a southern accent while singing her new song “The Climb.” This was so interesting to me. She used twitter as a way to update her fans, not just her friends, about what she had going on and it was never anything inappropriate.
This evening, I opened up my twitter account and could not find Miley’s tweets anywhere! I tried looking at older tweets and still, nothing. Then, Ryan saw what I was doing and said, “You didn’t hear?” I shouted back in a panic, “Hear what!?” He didn’t have to say anything, I knew what I had to google: “Miley Cyrus twitter” and there it was…
Miley Cyrus Ditches Twitter
Celebuzz is reporting that Miley Cyrus deleted her Twitter account at the request of new boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. Cyrus had over 2 million Twitter followers. Hemsworth doesn’t Twitter and didn’t approve of Cyrus’ Twitter habit. Cyrus’ mom jumped on board and deleted her account as well.
Cyrus’ last Twitter: “FYI Liam doesn’t have twitter and he wants ME to delete mine with good reason.”
Cyrus fans aren’t too happy about her Twitter disappearance and are rallying for her return.
You’re damn right we want her to return! Are you joking, Miley? Come on! You can’t do that! We need to know what you’re doing on set and what snacks you are eating while watching Peter Pan!
Ok, so I can kind of see this guy Liam’s point. Maybe she shouldn’t be sharing so many details about herself and her life with the world wide web, but if it is harmless, then why stop? It’s not like she got a stalker from it…but I think that is the real reason she ditched her twitter account. As if I know her at all, but in my opinion, Miley is not the kind of girl who would let a guy tell her what to do. She seems way too independent for me. I think that she got some freaky, scary threats from some person following her on twitter and that is why she closed her account. And if that is the case, then I say, poor Miley!
