Aidan is 2 weeks old as of yesterday. Ryan and I celebrated by going out to dinner to the Melting Pot. It was the first time we had been out of the house together since he was born. It was also the first time I had full make up on and I tell ya what, that felt really good! So did the glass of pinot grigio I had with dinner.

We went to the Country Club with the rest of the family for our Easter dinner and it was a fabulous buffet. Not only were they serving soups, salads and the usual assortments of breads, fruits and cold shellfish, but they also had a pasta bar where the chef would make your own pasta dish with whatever you wanted in it. They had carving stations of prime rib, turkey and ham, as well as some chaffing dishes with wild mushroom ravioli, steamed vegetables, macaroni & cheese, chicken tenders & french fries and of course, dessert. I had a little bit of everything and ended the evening with waffles topped with bananas foster, whipped cream, hot fudge, berries, sugar cookies and a peep. It was a pregnant girl’s dream!

Even at the ripe old age of 11, my childhood dog, Sophie, still acts like a puppy these days.  I still remember picking her out of a litter of eight black lab females. Here she is all grown up…  

Doesn’t she look spectacular?  However, she was not doing well a few months ago.

Tasker Family Christmas Tree

Well, here’s your Christmas present.

Like I said, you’ll either love it or you’ll hate it.  I’m hoping its the former, because I spent entirely too much time setting it up.   I’m hoping its the latter because I’m going to spend entirely too much time tweaking it for you.
