Birthday Cards
Birthday cards are great. I love to open them all up and read them slowly to fully gain the thought that went into picking that card. I think my favorite birthday cards are the ones I receive in the mail.
Receiving a card in the mail is like getting a gift hand delivered, one that is unexpected and almost more thoughtful than the ones that come taped to a gift. The person mailing a birthday card had to not only pick one out and sign it, but they also had to address it, apply postage AND drop it off at the post office in enough time for it to arrive on the right day. I just love receiving those kinds of cards in the mail.
