Need More Sleep
I have come to the realization that I might not be getting enough sleep. I go to bed every night at 11:00pm, then wake up between 5:45 – 6:00am. I am fine on Monday-Wednesday, but come Thursday I am hurting for sure. I hit the wall by about 2:00pm every Thursday and that is the time of the day that I’m searching for some sugar or caffeine to give me the boost that I need to make it to 4:30pm when I get to go home.
I read that drinking coffee as a pick-me-up is not as good as drinking water. But I beg to differ. I always feel so much better after having a cup of coffee than I do after drinking a bottle of water. On Thursdays and Fridays, however, I tend to do both, I need all the help I can get!
When the weekend rolls around, I stay up a bit later at night and then sleep later in the morning and by Monday, I’m back on track again. I know I should be going to bed earlier, but I think that you can not risk loosing those precious minutes of your day that you could be spending with your husband or your puppy dog. I’m tired, but it does not bother me that much. I am actually OK with it, really, I am! But then again, today is Monday, ask me on Friday if I think I get enough sleep…I bet I have a different answer for you.
