Fever
A fever in a 4 year old is no fun. It’s especially no fun when you don’t realize he has a fever until you’ve already driven 30+ miles to his school. I knew the right thing to do was to have the teacher take his temperature. And when it was running north of 101 degrees, that’s when you know you made the right call. However, the long drive back home was painful. Working from home is not easy, but it’s doable. And if it allows my little man to rest up, cool down and feel better, then it’s worth it.
